September 2026 Inter-Faith Riverside Walk
Our Riverside Walk on Saturday 26 September will be one of the Riverfest events. It’s a walk beside the River Stour starting from Westgate Gardens in Canterbury, to Hambrook Marshes and back, with stops at various points along the way from the world’s faith and belief traditions, religious and secular, to celebrate our relationship to the natural world and the value of rivers and water. We’ll meet from 10.30 am at the entrance to Westgate Gardens, by Westgate Towers in Canterbury, to start the walk at 11.00 am. It will be a very gentle walk, taking about an hour altogether. All are welcome.
